Living in the Molecular Moment
I love “59th Street Bridge Song,” by Simon and Garfunkel: “Slow down, you move too fast, You got to make the morning last…” This song was released in 1966 and life has only gotten “busier” since then! Which brings me to the point of this blog – slowing down to the molecular moment.
I use the word “molecular” because I want you to zoom into the smallest piece of the moment. Most of us can relate to the experience of time just flying by, we even have a tagline, “time flies when you are having fun.” Which is all fine and well except when “time flies” we miss the moments, and moments are where the miracles live.
So how in the “H,” “E,” double hockey sticks do you slow down to the molecular moment? Just like anything in life – it starts with awareness. Try taking 3 deep breaths to center yourself and clear all the mind clutter. After the third breath, begin to be aware of the moment, notice that in the moment is where “CHOICE” lives.
Choose to be present in the moment – let go of the million things you have going on and be powerfully present to right now. This process takes practice just like anything else worth while in life. You will soon begin to experience the calmness that is in the moment. This calmness allows you to choose actions and reactions that align with what you want to be creating in life.
Living in the molecular moment also allows you to experience the millions of miracles that are happening all around you. From divine guidance to to the marvels of nature – moments are filled with miracles. Slow down and appreciate the now – stop living into tomorrow and the next deadline.
Thanks for reading AND what makes this a TRANSFORMATIONAL message is the ACTION it motivates you to take. Anything is possible. You get to choose! If you have any questions feel free to reach out!
Possibility makes life a game worth playing!
