The Clash of Feelings and Action

The Clash of Feelings and Action

Right?  How many of you created a commitment that you were going to wake up earlier every morning in order to go and work out?  After creating that commitment did you automatically wake up and jump out of bed to get to the gym? Maybe, especially at first.  I also know that you can all relate to the time the alarm does go off and “you don’t feel like going” so you don’t go. That is an instance where our feelings get in the way of our actions.

I would like you to consider the irrelevance of feelings when it comes to being in action.  You may NEVER “feel” like going to the gym, yet we all know the truth that when we do go to the gym we are always so glad we went.  So, what if you tried on being in action regardless of what you “feel” like doing. What if you were able to acknowledge the feeling and you were in action of your commitment anyway?

Example:

ALARM goes off at 5am – your initial thought is “Ugh, I don’t feel like going today”  In THAT moment you remind yourself of your commitment and say: “Even though I don’t feel like going to the gym – I know that I will be so glad I went.”

I am telling you it is THAT SIMPLE.  Be in action regardless of whether you feel like it or not.  You can use this in EVERY area of your life; in relationships, at work, school, parenting. Etc… You get to choose what you are in action in.  You get to choose to act on your feelings or not. The key is to be in bite-size actions in what you want to create in life.

Thanks for reading AND what makes this a TRANSFORMATIONAL message is the ACTION it motivates you to take.  Anything is possible. You get to choose!

Possibility makes life a game worth playing!
